Cooperation among Cooperatives brings you BIG SAVINGS, to include the PEC Solar Rebate Program, in renewable Solar Energy

Perdenales Electric Coop(PEC) has partnered up with Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) to bring new and exciting opportunities to our area. Both residential and commerical members have the opportunity to finance through the PEC Solar Rebate Program. With options ranging from 24 months to 60 months, and low APR, everyone now has the opportunity to participate in renewable solar energy programs and promote energy efficiency.

Empower Loan Program

Not a member of RBFCU? Not to worry! As a member of PEC, you’re automatically eligible to join RBFCU! In the spirit of serving the community, Perdenales Electric has created the Empower Loan Program. This program offers low cost financing options and on-bill payment and it can get your property or business connected to the renewal energy solar grid just in time for the summer. An energy use and site assessment will determine which options are best fior you. Once completed, you will know whether you benefit from energy efficiencyupgrades or the installment of a Solar Photovoltaic System.

System Interconnection

PEC encourages members to use solar panel technology to save money and the environment. Through the Net Metering Interconnection, it routes the power through a meter that measures your PEC-delivered electricity, then subtacts the amount of energy produced by your system. This surplus electricity, above what you actually consume each billing cycle, is credited to you at PEC’as net enery credit rate, which currently is $0.0465 per kWh.
